- The process was easy and painless, employees are cordial and patient, and the amount of space, as well as the insurance policies and the locks that are made available on sight, are more than acceptable compared to past experienced I've witnessed and as this is my first time getting a storage of my own, I appreciate the capability and lovely cadence I was presented with by the staff.

- Harvey was very pleasant and helpful as far as paperwork and setting up my contract. Jose showed me a number of storages before I made my choice and was very knowledgeable and even let me look at the storage spaces an extra time to make sure I picked the right one. The movers were also wonderful and did such a good job making sure nothing broke and everything went into the space in an orderly fashion. I am all around happy with my experience so far and would recommend this facility to anyone looking for an easy move into a storage facility.

- Great staff, Horrible Access Hours.
The people that work here are wonderfully helpful and friendly. The facility had the best prices in the city. The storage units could use a light or at least an outlet for one but that it not always a concern. The access hours are horrible. The gate is only open from 9:30 6:00. That makes it difficult, if not impossible, to go before or after work usually. Being able to only go on weekends was a complete deal breaker for me. Otherwise this is the best storage place I have ever dealt with.

- I recomend this storage place to everyone. The girl at the front desk is awesome. The storage place is good value for your money. I recomend getting the storage online first. It is a few dollars cheaper than a walk in. The facility is clean and easy to get to. The thing I dont like is the hours. I use this frequently as I use it as an extended closet. I would like to see later hours, maybe until 10pm. Another is that above unit b162 there has been a dead light. I've notified them to get it checked. After a few weeks its still dead. Im an electrician by trade so I looked into it cause it hasn't been fixed. I found that the ballast is bad. Ive notified them to replace it but its still been down for a month. Like I mentioned i use this place frequently, I'd like to have this light fixed.

Find a Storage Unit For Rent Near You
Self-Storage Emporium 1023 Magnolia Ave, Larkspur, CA 94939 415-464-0444
Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Larkspur, California is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout California, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Larkspur, California.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Larkspur, California?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Larkspur?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
