- I was looking for a small storage unit to keep things in for a while. The extra space storage had the best location, price and wide selection of options. You could have an outside drive up or inside climate controlled unit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recomend this facility for your storage needs.

- I came in a couple weeks ago to pay a bill and the manager name Teila was very helpful. My storage is in another state and she went through all the necessary steps to find my account and help get my bill paid. I also had fees that I didn't understand and she helped explain them to me. I initially forgot to do this review for her but she crossed my mind so I hope she knows that I did appreciate her excellent customer service.

- I used to have storage 5 years ago in Corte Madera(expensive and complicated to access) I have not idea about StorQuest exsit.
The person that helped me over the phone Mark in LA he was much more clear and helpful than most people in San rafael. So,I made the reservation and appoint to see this place. Once I arrived and Markisha welcomed me and immediately showed me the unit, but she also showed me other alternatives to helped me. Actually, this is the first time that someone help me, since in the past they never give me options and if any availability usually is more money.they have elevator, great location fast and efficient to get your unit, nice gate access and parking.
With Markisha's smile and efficiency. I put my boxes in my new unit and went home happy. What else can you ask for?

- We paid $213 for a 10' x 10' storage unit. We didn't know until we arrived that smaller units do not have lighting inside and were advised to bring flashlights. There are carts for use, but you have to go into the front office, give your driver's license or other form of ID that is held until you return the cart. Carts are on the upper (3rd) floor. Entry door for accessing all units is on the ground floor. There are two elevators. Make sure you read the directions on how to access the elevator; it's a five-step process.
The manager is great: friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I gave 'pricing' two stars because there should be lighting inside EVERY unit, not just the more expensive units.

- I love that this storage is under 5 mins away from where I live and the district manager assisted helped find a storage for me when the front person said the storage that I reserved is gone (even though they sent a confirmation that it has been reserved).
Iテ「竄ャ邃「ve recently moved my stuff and things went smooth except that each time I go to the storage place the garbage in the parking lot is starting to mount. When I come in the gate itテ「竄ャ邃「s the first thing to greet me. Inside the storage place too there are random trashes like plastic or paper bags that people leave after they store their stuff.
If the facility gets maintained well and both inside and outside of the building are clean I would strongly recommend this place to everyone I know who needs storage space.

- Great Experience! I needed a ground-floor, accessible space "right now" when I arrived back in town from 3-weeks vacation last week. The folks at Public Storage on Marin Street couldn't have been more helpful, quickly finding a unit and getting me signed up. Already having another unit with Public Storage may have helped with that process, but all I know is that I was able to unload everything that needed to go into the unit in about an hour, which was record time! Facility is squeaky clean and super-easy to get in and out of. Highest recommendation!

- Kevin was really helpful today. I found the right size unit after he was kind enough to show me 4 different sizes. He was thorough, friendly and ultimately helpful in getting me everything necessary to start renting a unit. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I had the deal as advertised online. His Manager Luciana was right in having Kevin here - Ive been to a few different storage places and people are not usually this helpful.

Find a Storage Unit For Rent Near You
Self-Storage Emporium 1023 Magnolia Ave, Larkspur, CA 94939 415-464-0444
Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Larkspur, California is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout California, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Larkspur, California.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Larkspur, California?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Larkspur?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
