- I needed a storage facility for over the holidays to store my truck so I could use my garage for other things during Christmas. I called several storage facilities close to home but none were large enough for my truck. My brother-in-law recommended Public Storage, so I called the toll free number and the gentleman told me they had one large enough for my truck and they had a special, $1.00 for the first month plus $24.00 move in fee. When I got to the Public Storage Facility in Salisbury, NC, this wasn't the price at all. I paid $197.00 with $24.00 move in fee for a 15X20 space with the second month free. Other than that the employees were knowledgeable and the space is clean. I don't need the second month because I will be moving out by the first of the new year. Thank You.

- Will not rent from these clowns again. I was using auto draft for two years rental, rate went up three times. Started out 146.00 to 156.00 to 196.00. When I went to turn in the unit on the March 8, 2022. Martha stated that Kannapolis Self Storage doesn't refund monies at the end of the monthly rental. So, I'm out the monies that is owned to me! I'm on auto draft, that means that I should not be locked out of my unit, they put their lock on the unit I had to be in Mooresville with material that was in the unit, had to wait an hour for them to find someone to take the lock off. So sad that you can't do anything about the situation! My opinion they treat you nice until you move out and then Overcash gets everything out you that they can!! Will not rent a storage unit, buy insurance or buy real estate (((Overcash)))!
