- PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THIS PLACE. Our rent has gone up over 100% in two years. The rent quoted online is 200/month for a 10x15, however we were notified that ours is increasing to 300/month at the beginning of the month. I requested that they reduce it to what they have published, they said no. They said they could not do anything at the office. This place is a classless rip-off and should never be used. My homeowner's insurance covers insurance, but they said they don't care - they want another 15/month for that or don't take the unit. I have never felt so taken advantage of - it makes my blood boil. The good news is that there are hundreds of these places in my area and I am not giving them any more money. I hope you don't either - you can do better. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and avoid stress. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY. COSTS IN THIS AREA HAVE NOT GONE UP.

- My husband and I were coming off the road from a long road trip from the Houston area just after Hurricane Harvey, and we needed to get things unloaded as we were eager to drop off the truck and car carrier, get to our destination and rest! This would not have been possible without the helpful willingness of Perla, the facility manager. She stayed after hours to accommodate our needs. If you are concerned about customer service getting lost in the "big brand" feel of a company such as Public Storage, you don't have to worry about that at this location as long as Perla is around.

- Three storage facilities are within a few blocks of our house. I have passed Public Storage for 25 years and noticed the clean environment and safety features like lighting and a gate entry. I went to Public Storage first to price the three options. A recent break-in at a nearby facility meant safety was a major concern. Since I have experience with interior climate control spaces at UHAUL in NM, I was impressed by the higher level of security at Public Storage with multiple entry codes for second story units. Cecilia told me about the 50% discount for climate controlled spaces and there was one left that fit our needs. The impressive secure lock and size of the unit was perfect but I still needed to price compare. After a trip to the last remaining storage facility, I was back to Public Storage, no comparison regarding pricing, security and comfort when moving boxes and furniture in the summer heat. The only negative was that I was told I had to have insurance and was not given time to call my insurance company. Cecilia said I could go online and cancel it but failed to mention the first month fee could not be refunded.. UHAUL never charged insurance for college students or at all in NM. The fact the facility remains uncompromised despite the growing crime in the area is amazing.
