- It was much hotter than I expected for a climate controlled storage building. It is so hot here in Texas, so I spent the extra money on a climate controlled unit. But, I was very disappointed when I got to my new unit to unload my first load and it was so hot inside the main building. Then, we got to elevator #1, and it wasn't working. Bit, there was no sign anywhere to tell us that. We looked at the map and found elevator #2, further away from the entrance, but it wasn't working either. We finally found a repair man who had to use his special passcode to let us up and down to the 3rd floor for each load to and from our truck outside. So, our first day was much longer and hotter than it should have been. The price is good, but you get what you pay for, I guess.
