- I decided on this service based on Internet specials and location. I was surprised by two fees, monthly insurance and admin fee, but they were not too unreasonable. I just wish it was clear that I would have to pay those when I made my reservation. Customer service wasn't bad. Facility is well secured and cared for. - I called several places and extra storage had the best prices and the manager was so helpful on the phone. I asked many questions and he was so patient and offered to let me choose between a bigger or smaller unit the day we moved in. When we arrived, he went out to our truck, looked at what we had and recommended that we go with the smaller unit. He then took the time to drive us to two different units and allowed us to choose which one we wanted to rent. The customer service was outstanding, the place was very clean and the location was just off the freeway. This is a great place to store your extra stuff.
