- I was storing at Advanced Storage in Frisco for 8 years and they kept jacking the rates up. Finally decided to make the switch to Public Storage which is just up the street. It's a very clean, climate controlled environment for $25 per month less than I was paying for an outdoor unit (same size) at the other place. Advanced Storage did offer to meet their price, but still for the outside unit. The Saturday afternoon move was well worth it
