- Renting the storage was an easy online process. The facility is very secure requiring access codes to not only the entry gates, but also to the storage unit facility. Flatbeds are available to help moving. This is so convenient especially if you're moving things alone! The facility was clean and doesn't give the creeps! I would definitely recommend.

- No one was in the office on Saturday to help give any instruction on getting into the unit nor how to use the access code, had to get help from another tenant on using the access code. I did not know that I was just supposed to pop off the seal and open the unit. If no one is in the office how is a tenant supposed to get help if needed. I thought about cancelling my rental and moving to another storage facility but husband talked me out of it.

- I secured a 10' X 15', 2nd floor unit at this Cubesmart online for half the monthly price I had reserved it for at another Cubesmart location- and cheaper than any other storage facility in the nearby surrounding area. The manager called me immediately after making my online reservation and was able to answer my questions quickly and efficiently. She suggested I come in to complete the reservation and verified my proof of personal storage insurance documentation and lock type -which stood out to me because most facilities haven't required that I provide the documents as proof, they just took me at my word. The fact that she did require it further confirmed that she is on point and made me feel that my stuff will be safe at this location. I noticed also the bathrooms are always open and clean.- the entire facility is very clean actually. Impressively clean compared to other companies. The only things I would change about my storage unit are facility related - 1) There's no mobile access option yet so you do have to manually enter your access code on the key pad to open gates/doors. 2) There's only one place to enter and exit the building and my unit is nowhere close to that entry way. It's not very convenient for moving in and out very quickly and makes a long walk down a semi-dark hallway seem so very long. 3) This isn't uncommon but it's still a complaint- there's no lighting inside the unit itself. And no outlets of course to plug a light into. I have been in units that do provide interior unit lighting and wish that I had considered that when I was looking for a new locker because it's hard to organize and look for what you need in the dark and it's also a pain to remember to bring a flashlight everytime you go.

- It's hassle free move in. Lance, the managing supervisor for life storage on site between McNeil and FM 620 is a very difficult person to work with. I've tried twice renting a parking space there and I was denied due to minor issues. His assumptions always ruins the experience. His errors are not reimbursed for additional charges and no apologies for making the mistake. I'm just done dealing with his harsh controlling personality. Never will I rent a space from that location in the future.

- I needed a storage unit for storing my stuff once my college classes ended. I was on the fence about many of the storage units in my area. I decided to check out this location and was pleasantly surprised with the upkeep of the place and the friendliness of the manager. I was shown my future unit and was shown the mechanisms for opening/closing the unit as well as the policy on access hours. It was also noted that the units use a special lock that must be purchased. They are very secure. Cost and payments were politely discussed and I appreciated the sincerity during the conversation. I am definitely happy with my decision to rent a unit at this location!

- Took three reservations and attempts before ExtraSpace Hutto could “find” the reservation and help me finish it up over the phone. Instead, whoever answered the phone offered the same space for about two to three times the price. I never figured out if this was an attempt to not honor the incredible price, or if the third party aggregator didn’t transmit the contract properly…. HOWEVER, the third time I tried to close the deal Adonis answered the phone. He DID find the reservation. We finished up the details and I e-signed within an hour. Put my lock in place that same day! Never a discussion about the price being anything different than what my reservation said….so refreshing. When I arrived the place was spotlessly clean. Wandering around inside every light lit up as it should. Everything looked to be in excellent condition.
