- Only gave 4 stars because pricing is a little high, but on average with the industry (they're all expensive these days). Other than that it's a tight ship over there, I don't worry about my stuff, despite the neighborhood.

- I hate giving bad reviews, but sometimes it feels like a duty, right?
TLDR; unreliable and unorganized over several visits, not worth the trouble.
I gave this place the benefit of the doubt with our first rocky interaction. We signed up for a space, called ahead to check that our arrival time would work and what we needed to bring, all good. We get there within the timeframe we confirmed on the phone, and a woman I believe was the manager was sitting in her car smoking out front. No biggie, of course, except she informed us she was leaving for her lunch break, and no one would be available to help us check in for 'at least an hour.' We argued back and forth a bit as we had called ahead and were in a time crunch, and eventually she ended up helping us. Great, we moved past it and ended with smiles all around.
However, today we needed to get a larger unit, which of course requires checking in at the office again and all. Called ahead to confirm times, but when we get there within the times confirmed, the office is dark and locked up. It is about 10am- not what I would expect lunch time to be, plus again, we had confirmed our arrival window. Super inconvenient, as we were once again working in specific time window, so we moved to one of the much more responsive storage spots in the area and had no trouble, even with a last-minute request.

- My aunt is in Oregon, I'm in California. Had to find a storage facility in Oregon without driving up there. The PS in my area coordinated with the PS in her area so I could sign papers here and arrange payment. The managers were very helpful.

- From the phone call inquiry, I made to learn if there was a space that would be easy for me to access and use with my constant need of using a Walker to walk safely; to the completion of the paperwork was all done so easily and professionally. I enjoyed and appreciated being shown the best way to enter, use the storage facility and then exit with no confusion or discouraging experiences. I am very pleased with Public Storage from every aspect and have told many friends and acquaintances about the best place in Gresham to assist in storing things, until one can sort and make further accomplishments to move these items into theif living space.. s Thanks for all you have done to help me with this huge transition in my life.

- Overall experience has been great. I much appreciated the initial consultation, and demonstration with the assistance of applying the app and use of its functions. The parameter of payment options is most satisfying and workable, with varying deposit dates of income, having the flexibility of payment dates really helps, and takes the stress of late payment worries. Thank you so much.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Sandy, Oregon is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Oregon, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Sandy, Oregon.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Sandy, Oregon?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Sandy?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
Several storage facilities in Sandy are located near Highway 26. This area offers convenient access for residents who commute between downtown and Mount Hood Village. If you live in Cherryville or Firwood, using a facility near Proctor Boulevard can save significant travel time.
Facilities along Bluff Road and Ten Eyck Road often have higher demand because they are close to neighborhoods and downtown Sandy. These locations often have better security and lighting, but they usually cost more than units located farther east.
Sandy’s cold, wet winters and hot, dry summers make climate-controlled units ideal for storing wooden furniture, electronics, and important documents. Temperature-controlled units help protect items from seasonal humidity changes that are common in Clackamas County.
Residents near Sandy High School or Meinig Memorial Park may prefer indoor units, which protect against frequent rain and are often in well-lit buildings that improve security at night.
