- -I was not told upon reservation this was an unmanned facility.
-On site, the kiosk would not accept our Canadian address information, forcing a phone call.
-The parking spot assigned to us was tight to get into.
VERY TIGHT.
Made worse by the trailer already in place next to us as it was not pulled far enough into their spot. The back end of their trailer sitting 6 feet back from the end of their parking spot.
It took us a very tense half an hour of working with fractions of inches to get around them to park.
-If you assign anyone in the empty spot next to us there simply won't be enough turning room to pull forward and get out.
Before we return in 2 weeks I'll be calling to make sure that spot next to us is still empty.

- Hi neighbors,
I’ve rented from SpareBox on 23rd & Sarah since July 2022. At one point I had two units—one outdoor and one climate-controlled. Beyond the constant rent hikes every 3–6 months, what concerns me most is that both of my units have now been broken into.
March: My outdoor unit was hit.
July: My climate-controlled unit was broken into.
SpareBox told me they filed a police report but haven’t heard anything back. They also told me I should file my own, so I plan to submit a non-emergency report to ensure my units were actually included and to follow up myself.
What I don’t understand is:
SpareBox has cameras, so why can’t they identify who’s breaking in?
Why would one of my units be hit in March, and then a different one in July?
Why are only certain units being targeted instead of all?
I’m sharing this so others know what they’re getting into if they choose to rent here. This site is not secure—and on top of that, they keep hiking up prices.

- They raise the price without notification and then when you ask why they tell you it's your problem you didn't get the notice it was going up. Manager very rude.

- We reserved a unit online and received a follow-up call from the on-site staff. She told us we were welcome to complete the process online if we wanted to, or that we could stoo by the office to complete the process. We chose to go by and were able to see the unit before we signed up. The paperwork did not take very long snd the ladies in the office were very pleasant and helpful. They also shared with us imoortant information about the property and were very thorough. I would not have a problem giving anyone a recommendation to choose these torage units for their needs.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Yukon, Oklahoma is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Oklahoma, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Yukon, Oklahoma.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Yukon, Oklahoma?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Yukon?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
