- You need to put more pertinent information on the website. I was very disappointed with all the HIDDEN charges that came out when I went in to the office to rent a space. No where does it state that you MUST have a padlock at the time of rental and can supply your own instead of paying $20 to get one from you. No where does it say that some states require the renter to maintain insurance on their contents. When I went back the next day to actually rent the space, I brought my own padlock and saved some money. I did purchase insurance from Public storage at the time I rented the space. I think it would be nice if it said on the website that "The following states require insurance: (list of states). This would have made my original experience much more pleasant because I would have been prepared for everything that was required on the first trip instead of having to go home, research other storage locations, and return another time to sign the contract.

- Stopped in to put some things in my unit today and the office was locked! I could not get the cart to help me move my things. the sign indicated they would be closed at 1:30... but this was 1:00. I did locate a manager who was doing some cleaning on the 2nd floor and got the cart, but it took a lot more effort and time than I expected.
