- PS employees are doing their best to accommodate every customer needs but of course they cannot please everybody. I feel bad when I read hostile reviews about them. Common! They just work there!
My Veteran boyfriend and I shared 3 units at Burlingame PS. In just 2 months! So far we haven't experienced big deal issues. Thank you.

- Edited now that I'm not being pressured to deliver a perfect review.
Considering you can't expect much in the way of customer service from a storage place, the staff was a little better than okay, but the quickly rising cost of rent made me leave.
First floor units get wet during hard rainfall.
3 stars for service, 2 stars for keeping my stuff dry.
PROTIP: Need a dolly? Don't don't bother giving them your ID.
Half the time they're not even in the office.
One of the yellow dollies has a loose bolt, all you have to do is lift up the handle and the dolly is yours.
Also: the lady behind the counter was twice as helpful when the tall guy that pressured me to make this review from corporate was behind her.
PROTIP 2: Come in when corporate is around.

- Although I was pleased with my initial experience, I was recently informed that I could use my renter ins policy to cover the ins needs of extra storage. I wasn't given this info during signing up , but rather through another customer. Options were not given to me which makes me skeptical of extra storage motives.

- I was able to locate a unit at my local Public Storage by searching online. I reserved my unit at night and, the next day, Bill, the on-site manager called me to confirm and set up a time to go in. Couldn't have been easier.

- They were not opened at advertised time so I waited outside with movers & a truck for 20 minutes past 'open hours'. Once opened there was no-one around to unlock the trolleys which had been advertised as 'always available' for use. The Public Storgae padlock was supposed to be removed (I confirmed this multiple times) and it wasnt so once I eventually got into the building I could not access my unit. Again, nobody was immediately available to help. If I didnt have a flight soon I would have gone to another place and cancelled my contract. Terrible.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in San Bruno, California is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout California, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in San Bruno, California.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.

How do I find the cheapest storage in San Bruno?

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
