- I paid ahead for the unit I reserved online & was given an email stating that I would get notice either by email/txt ahead of my move in date (which was the very next business day) with the gate access code info. I gave them until almost the end of closing time on the following day to notify me. But, had to zip over to catch the office before they closed for the day @6p…which ended up being my worst case scenario situation. I was moving out of another public storage unit at different location & wanted to leave it before final access time @ new location (9p). However, my plans got cut short & interrupted my whole ideal plan of cleaning out old unit (until 8pm) just to catch the office to get my new access code so that I could unload all my belongings into the new unit (instead of keeping in my vehicle overnight). Those extra couple hrs would have been so much nicer to have for cleaning out/moving rest of my stuff from old location. Instead, I left few random empty boxes/plastic bags that couldn’t fit with an apology note saying I’m so sorry for leaving in such a rush, a bit untidy, but have to catch new PS location before they close for the day since I never got my new access code itinerary messaged to me yet?? Not really cool, especially, since I was told specifically, otherwise, & to expect msg prior to tomorrow’s move-in date? I would think it’d be more organized & pretty straight forward (esp if msgs were automated depending on new customer registration completion), kind of defeated the whole “no contact, gain direct access into unit same day of move-in” pitch sale lines they fed in my reservation notice. I have never experienced any issues like this before when dealing with PS, so never expected having to bother with stepping into office on 1st day. I like being able to focus on the moving stress alone & meeting the office at another time to deal with insurance stuff. I usually need all the time to pack & unload in the allotted time I have. It was unfortunate.

- I recently rented a unit at Extra Space Storage on 1860 Vine Street and have been thoroughly impressed. The building is exceptionally secure, with advanced safety measures that gave me peace of mind from the start. The amount of usable space in my unit exceeded my expectations, making it a great value for the price.
The office staff is attentive and professional, always ready to assist with any questions. I also appreciate how seamless and secure the digital access is through their app—it makes managing my storage super convenient. Overall, this location is well-maintained, secure, and customer-focused. Highly recommend!

- Sue made the process of seeing the space, doing the paperwork and getting auto-pay all arranged a genuine pleasure! The facility is SPOTLESS, everything works as it should, and security is even better than I remembered it being. (I'm a repeat customer, because I felt well taken care of then, and STILL do.) Thanks to Sue for doing such a great job. We love the Burbank location.

Finding and renting self-storage facilities in Burbank, California is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving storage facilities throughout California, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Burbank, California.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location.
Are there free storage deals in Burbank, California?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Burbank?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
