- I highly recommend Public Storage on Union Rd. I had booked another location and was in touch with the manager all day long updating as i was running late. I let her know I would be on time to 10 minutes at the most late, and had left her my number if she needed to contact me. I arrived 3 minutes late. CLOSED!! No phone call, no nothing. There I was with a 28' truck full of stuff that had to be back the next morning, along with a towing trailer with my mini van on it, and my wife following in my Expedition with my 3 kids. We drove for hours and the lady knew it. She knew we had got caught in a snowstorm and she was completely gone at 6:03pm. I then looked around at the property and realized there was NO WAY I was getting the 28' into the location. What a bad setup! As angry as i was, I decided to stick with PS but find a better, more deserving location. That's just what i did. The Staff was extremely helpful with switching my reservation over, and the location on Union Rd in Gastonia, is much better equipped and layed out to accommodate such a big truck. At the end of the morning, i was happy. the location is clean, staff is helpful, and price is right. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Go see William today, he is great!
