- I recently rented storage at Life Storage because I am buying a house in a town many miles south of the Twin Cities. I am in the process of clearing out my present home to ready it to be on the market. I have a lot of stuff after living here 40 years, and no time for yard sales and all that, so we are packing me up, donating a lot, trashing some and storing the remainder at Life Storage. PJ is very helpful in choosing the right size for me, and completing the paperwork in no time flat. They were patient with me trying out the lock to be sure I knew how it worked, and explained the gate code very carefully. They also helped with the purchase of some packing materials that I hadn't seen anywhere else, such as cartons for mirrors and glass-framed large pictures. The facility is climate-controlled which is a great feature, clean and neat, with good signage, multiple carts. The doors and walls are in great shape, no dents or rust was visible. The distance from my present home is less than 2 miles, so that is a big plus, security is top-notch, and even going there alone invokes no fear on my part.
