- I found their rates here pretty good compared to others, but expect the rate will start to go up rapidly after the introductory offer. Other costs were not shared with me in advance: I was told by phone I could use my own padlock, but at the facility I learned this applied only to some units; I had to buy a special lock/key for $20.00. Also, I wasn't told that insurance at the rate of $15 per month was required unless I had my own household insurance that covered it. Luckily, my existing insurance plan covers storage; others might not be so lucky. And there is the now-expected, in corporate America, small print about having absolutely no legal recourse of any kind in any matter for any reason, so you are entirely at your own risk regarding anything that could happen. SO I don't exactly feel I'm in great hands, but it serves my needs for the short term storage I need. Customer service at the facility was friendly and competent; easy to get in and out, and everything is clean and well cared-for.

Ended up driving several miles to another public storage to get an access key that didn't work until the manager at my complex came back the next day and fixed it, so I lost the first day and the helper I hired.. Promised a ground floor unit; it's on the fifth floor. Big hassle and money list. Not a great beginning.
