- Unit not clean and dark becauseof missing light bulb, but they did give an excuse for it not being clean, as if that was normal. I prefer to put my things in a clean space, but I was pressed for time.

- I am truly disappointed with my experience at Extra Space Storage Lincoln Park. I need to share my experience to inform others about the issues I encountered. While the manager Marisol and Arnold were polite, they seemed to make up their process as they went, strictly adhering to orders from 'the owner'. With that said they delivered little kindness and even less service.
I entrusted Extra Space Storage with my personal belongings, including important documents, photos, financial documents for safekeeping. However, when I found myself in a situation where I needed to resolve outstanding storage fees, the facility failed to uphold the basic principles of fairness, communication, and adherence to legal processes.
Despite making a proactive offer to pay and vacate my storage unit, I was shocked to discover that the facility proceeded with auction without notifying me whether or not my bid to pay and vacate the unit had been accepted. I reached management by phone before the auction had closed and was informed my offer had been accepted. I only needed pay in cash at the branch that day. I arrived at the facility as instructed, only to be greeted by a locked office door and a sign stating, "Management on the property." This left me in a state of confusion and frustration.
In summary, my experience with Extra Space Storage in Lincoln Park, Illinois, has been marked by incompetence, negligence, and a complete disregard for their customers' needs and rights. If we are able to resolve this issue we can address the nicer amenities and facilities. Without trust and communication those won't do future customers any good. I implore anyone considering using their services to think twice and explore alternative storage solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction, fairness, and adherence to legal procedures.

- Awesome management staff, who are very knowledgeable about facility, storage units, surrounding area if one needs supplies, etc.... When you rent from this facility, you feel like family for they truly take care of you. Customer service is top-notch and I have not seen better, after renting at various storage facilities. I have recommended this facility to many people who absolutely love renting from Annie and her team.

- I selected this facility because I thought its security and climate control would keep my favorite possessions in good condition, but I've had a truly terrible experience.
First, my things were damaged by a leaky pipe. Apparently they tried to call me to notify me, but I can't be sure because I was out of the country. I got no e-mails, letters or other notification, but returned to devastating water damage.
Second, my locker was broken into under their watch. The lock was intact, but someone had pried open the latch--apparently of mine and six other units--and had taken every valuable item in mine. Don't they have video? No, not inside. Can't they do something? No, but I can file my own insurance claim and police report. They were utterly unhelpful, and not the least bit apologetic.
So much for keeping my things safe. At least the facility is clean, but who cares about tidiness if everything gets ruined?

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Burbank, Illinois is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Illinois, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Burbank, Illinois.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Burbank, Illinois?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Burbank?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
