- The 5 stars are all for Kim! She did an amazing job answering all of my questions and getting me set up.
I did not like that the insurance requirement and cost for Orange Door's monthly cost was not listed online. That would have helped my financial planning in measuring the cost of the rental.

- Needed a place to store my boat. Gail was awesome and got me squared away. The space is adequate and serves my needs. Some of the spaces have vehicles that are not parked the best limiting maneuvering, so bring those trailering skills and you will be just fine.

- Property Manager was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Facility was very easy to locate for someone from out of town. Lighting in hallways outside storage units could use some improvement, and all storage units should have their own lighting. Also, there needs to be a better mechanism in place that truly prevents more than one vehicle from entering the facility at a time, forcing an occupant in each vehicle to authenticate with their given gate code; during my first trip into the property, another vehicle followed my car in without waiting for the gate to close so they could enter their code.

- Like everywhere on the E Side of Portland every storage facility is surrounded by homeless camps and RVs. So there is always a concern for security, but its gated and barb wired so hopefully all will be good.

- The signup process was very streamlined and the front office staff so friendly and helpful. The building is brand new and ultra clean. The location, although not my first choice, ended up being very convenient and easy to access.
Saturdays are very busy days with renters moving in and moving out. Dollies are hard to acquire. You have to pounce quickly on the renters who are finishing up using them. Pretty difficult to move big sized items like dining hutches and couches. Dollies are not wide enough to fit these items on, so have helpers with muscles with you! But overall a great experience and I'd give them 4.5 out of 5.

- Moving in to this Public Storage was really an outstanding experience. Your Ms. Star is a great host for me and you too. She enjoys her job and it shows. She made taking care of the paperwork an electronic snap. Her demeanor and pleasant style made doing business with your company an enjoyable experience.

- I already stated the two issues I found
And my girlfriend pointed out two more
One concern is only with this facility
Although it is a great location it is also not due to the fact it's kind of secluded and chicken potentially be a safety concern with single females at night
Also it states that access is available until 11 p.m. and this is not correct we have tried several times 20 to 15 minutes till 11 p.m. and we're not allowed access it stated it was already closed
On a positive note the lady that works in the office during the day was very helpful and very kind

Finding and renting self-storage facilities in Vancouver, Washington is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving storage facilities throughout Washington, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Vancouver, Washington.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location.
Are there free storage deals in Vancouver, Washington?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Vancouver?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
