Moving a pool table is difficult because of its weight, size, and complex structure. Standard residential pool tables weigh between 600 and 1,000 pounds, with slate bed models being the heaviest. Most tables must be taken apart before moving, as trying to force them in one piece can cause damage to both the table and nearby property. Disassembly usually involves removing the rails, felt, and slate slabs, which need careful handling due to their fragility.
How to Safely Move Your Pool Table

It is never too soon to start preparing for your move. Avoid last-minute stress by creating a to-do list of tasks to complete in the weeks before moving day.

The price I was quoted was not the price once I arrived. I had asked about the pricing and extra fees over the phone before putting in the reservation. I was told about an admin fee (all good for a one time admin fee of $30). Was told I had to use their lock they would supply (thereテ「竄ャ邃「s a fee for that, wasnテ「竄ャ邃「t told that). Was told I would need to get insurance, which compared to other facilities was nearly double (itテ「竄ャ邃「s $20/month extra), the explanation was a tad strange, in that they expect your home owners insurance to cover things - but their fee is a means to cover the home owners deductible (told this in person). Was told that taxes would be roughly about $10 - this was not the reality I was experienced on arrival. The taxes are $39 - monthly. Thatテ「竄ャ邃「s a hefty tax not included in the monthly rental price & not fully disclosed when talking to management over the phone. It left me feeling like I had been thru a bait and switch when I arrived. It didnテ「竄ャ邃「t help when the manager said: youテ「竄ャ邃「re getting a discounted rate for three months. I know he meant well, but it doesnテ「竄ャ邃「t change the lack of disclosure and I already knew about the intro rate. The facility itself is a nice facility. Clean. The trollyテ「竄ャ邃「s for use are solid, made of metal, and like new. The elevator is fast which is a plus if youテ「竄ャ邃「re on the 2nd floor. The access doors of units are nearly as wide as the space itself, which is a plus. Parking is a tad disorganized. For those things itテ「竄ャ邃「s a good place to store things. Not exactly in Park City. Facility is inside the border of the next county & city over from Park City. This is in Wasatch County and the town of Hideout. I gave it 4 stars due to the lack of full disclosure on pricing with tax. My suggestion is to just include the tax in pricing, or disclose it. p.s. I wasnテ「竄ャ邃「t offered a cold beverage.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Midway, Utah is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Utah, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs.

The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Midway, Utah.

  • Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.

  • For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.

  • Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.

  • Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.

  • Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.

  • The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.

  • Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
  • Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.

  • Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.

  • Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.

  • Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.

Are there free storage deals in Midway, Utah?

Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.

How do I find the cheapest storage in Midway?

You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?

You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.

What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?

The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
