- So you know: if they say they close at 10pm, what they mean is all of the key codes INCLUDING THE ONE THAT LETS YOU AND YOUR UHAUL OUT OF THE GATED PARKING AREA, are disabled at 10pm SHARP, and you will be locked in for over an hour while their emergency phone team tries and fails to reach the general manager, and eventually one of the emergency phone employees takes pity and gives you an exit code. Also, donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t be like me and not lock up your unit before you go down for your last load, bc your key code to get back up to your unit will also be disabled, and youﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ll have to come back before 7am to try to be the first person in so you can lock it. For the record, no other storage company Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve ever used locks you into their facility at closing time, or doesnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t have a way for folks who are already in the facility to finish up and leave when theyﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢re ready. But none of my other storage facilities were in NYC. I feel pretty sure that nobodyﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s gonna be able to access my stuff after hours and steal it, since I couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t even get out!!! So thatﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s good. I just wish they had told me!!!! Ten minutes would have made all the difference between finishing up on time, and having to practice my dance callback in the loading dock for an hour waiting for a manager to never call me back in order to avoid a complete panic attack. Enjoy THAT footage, yﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢all... TL;DR: good facility, clean and safe and reasonably priced for the area, but employees are a bit rushed and donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t give you all the info. Times are hard and fast. No exceptions. Also, demand to be shown your unit. I didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t, and got lost for ten minutes trying to find it. Hm... there those crucial ten minutes were...

- First time was great and the service was good, however I went today 9/8 at 11am and one of the employees was unprofessional and rude. She wanted me to bring a ladder under the doors to my unit. My 55 year old mother who is shorter than I was with me and the employee said “not the little one” to help, when told I was pregnant and could not her response was “oh shit” rather than an apology. She was very rude and sarcastic, however we remained kind and apologetic for bothering her although it is her job. She then tossed the big ladder down on my moms arm, who again is 55 years old with fragile bones. Had she broken my mother’s arm there would be a serious lawsuit, she again was not at all apologetic, my mom continued to be sweet although she was now hurt. My moms arm is now bruised, I really did not appreciate the service at all.
