- Carolina Storage Depot in Mills River, NC, is a contactless facility. After making your online reservation, you must call to get your contract signed, and get your unit number and access code. Very clean, efficient system, especially during the Covid pandemic! You will need to purchase your own padlock before putting your things in storage. My only suggestion would be having larger hand trucks and dollies on site for customer use. The ones there are the small size most people keep in their household garage.
