- I just now called and inquired about a storage unit not sure whether I wanted a 10x15 or 10x20. I was told by a "J" that she copuldnt help me unless I knew how much I had. I tried to explain I had a garage and basement full of boxes that I to store and I had looked online at what they said could be stored in those size units. First I couldnt finish a sentence and she explained how she couldnt help unless I told her if it was a 2 or 3 bedroom home?? Which doesnt help me as I have a 2 bedroom home but thats why I WAS looking for a storage unit was looking to store things as I'd be selling the house. I have items stored in a basement and a 2 car garage!!!!!!!!!!! So a 2 or 3 bedroom home has nothing to do with it!!!!!!!!!!! She did not want to hear me at all! Eventually I was hung up on and when I called back and asked for a manager she said she'd have them call me but had already thrown my name and number away! I will be contacting the manager about "J" and I was going to deal with them only but now!?!?!?! Yeah right!!!!! Pathetic! UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least!!! Will be leaving reviews on all sites I can now!!!!!!!!!!! This "J" person even laughed and when I asked what she was laughing about she said she didnt know what my problem was!?!?!?!?!?? Well I WAS GOING TO RENT A UNIT BUT SINCE YOU HAVE THE PROBLEM I GUESS SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Dundee, Michigan is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Michigan, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Dundee, Michigan.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
