- Customer service was good, monthly fee (for the size unit that I rented) is great. The only thing that I would suggest to Public Storage is that, in addition to listing unit prices online, they also let customers know that they have to insure their units immediately and what their insurance (Orange Door) costs per month. I was expecting to pay only $25.00 (the amount listed on the online reservation printout) but ended up paying $100.00 (first month's unit rent, insurance, a one-time $24.00 administration fee and proration through April 2020).

The facilities were clean, the unloading process was very easy, and the booking process was easy too.
