I'm just thankful for the woman that was working the morning that I came in. She was absolutely wonderful. Anything I was worried about she cleared up. And made it possible for me to get the overhead door that I wanted in order to fit the items I needed into the unit!

My first impression is that this storage facility is well run. Kevin has been helpful every step of the way! Even offered to let me borrow his Jeep to take something out that might be too large for my car! Who does that? Just a great guy and always smiling. Prompt service. The price is only a slight issue as I havenテ「竄ャ邃「t rented a storage unit in years. Seems pricey, but that may not be a fair assessment.

I was able to move items into storage within 10 minutes after arriving on the property. There were no hidden fees, as the $25 administrative fee was communicated up front. I like that they do not require you to have an automatic draft on your bank account. I like to pay cash and go month to month. Very friendly and efficient.

When moving from one city to another, finding a place for everything comes at a price. For the price I'm paying for a climate controlled 10x10 space on the first floor, I'm satisfied. Staff were kind enough to let me know about their carts when I tried to set a recliner on a longboard, the space was clean and well lit, and having an app to handle gate codes makes it easily the best space I've rented.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Westfield, Indiana is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Indiana, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs.

The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Westfield, Indiana.

  • Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.

  • For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.

  • Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.

  • Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.

  • Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.

  • The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.

  • Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
  • Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.

  • Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.

  • Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.

  • Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?

You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.

What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?

The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
