- I moved in 6 /21/2015. I thought with the $1.00 move in and the second month paid I would have until 8/21/2015. This was not thourghly explained to me. A/fter reading the contract I found that the the next month would be due on 8/1/2015. What I learned is if you want $1.00 to count as a full month you will need to move in on the first of the month I hope the lesson I learned will be help full to any one considering Public Storage.
