- I have always used Public Storage in the past, but this time they upset me. The unit I had reserved, seen and confirmed was given to somebody else. When I came in to pay my account I was given another unit which was not to my liking at all, it was dark with no access to light, one of the locks was broken and there was no other one I could change to. I was forced to take that unit and now I am looking around for another company to store with.

- Public Storage is very cost-effective place to store your goods! The monthly fee is reasonable, but be aware that there are some other fees to be mindful of. I was required to purchase a special cylindrical lock that I will never be able to use anywhere else. I was also charged a one-time administrative fee. Lastly, they tried to tell me that I was required to purchase their storage insurance for an additional monthly fee, but since I was able to prove to them that my existing insurance company covers storage, I was let off the hook. I got a great deal, but with the additional fees your first month could easily end up costing you quadruple your monthly rate!
