- Rented this unit with a "first month's free" promotion. However, you still pay a $22 processing fee and once you get there, they charge an additional $10 for insurance which they said is mandatory. Besides that, great price overall. I only needed it for one month, so I scored. Oh, plus they let you use their moving truck for free to move your stuff in. They just need $100 deposit and you get it right back when you return the truck :-) Pretty cool bonus!

- I am new to Public Storage but there are a few issues that concerns me and one problem that has not been corrected. The door to my Storage unit is not working and I have problems closing it. I was told it would be repaired and it still isn't. Also, there is only one carrier to transport your belongings and on Tuesday when I came it was in use and I had to carry all the boxes to the second floor by myself and it took some time. I would think that a big company like public storage would have more than one. I will give it another month and if the door is not repaired, I will then have to look for another place to store my all my belongings.
