- Gemma at the front desk is a great representation for this office/company. She's very knowledgeable and willing to assist with any of your moving needs. I wasn't sure what exactly I needed and with a couple of short questions we were on our way to see a space. She let me know what would be the best way to store me items and showed me different items they had available to pack my items accordingly. It's in the middle of a plaza so you might miss it the first time around, I highly recommend this office because the manager at the front it's really great and personable.

- I've been a customer at this location even before Public Storage took over. Back then this was Westwood Storage. I miss the small operation you get from a non-corporate company but also happy with the level of professionalism Public storage brought on. More secure, well-staffed and managed... I have to give kudos to John and Vetonio. They're awesome! I had to recently upgrade from a smaller unit to a next size up and Vetonio made that transition very seamless for me. He explained everything thoroughly and processed the paperwork expeditiously. The only hard part about this whole thing was moving my stuff so really there's nothing to complain about! Oh, and I also love that they do courtesy call to remind you if your bill is due to avoid incurring late fees. What's not to love?

- The girls Jasmine and Nelly are great! They always had the answers to all my questions. I needed a spot to park my car; they found one. I needed info about an extra unit; they had it. They are always on property making sure things are clean and in order. They're super nice and always have a smile on their face!

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Calabasas, California is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout California, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Calabasas, California.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Calabasas, California?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Calabasas?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
When choosing a storage unit in Calabasas, consider local factors that affect pricing and availability. Storage near popular neighborhoods like Mulholland Heights, The Oaks, or Mountain View Estates tends to cost more because of high demand and limited space.
Storage facilities farther from central areas like The Commons at Calabasas or Malibu Canyon Road usually have lower rates. Storage units in nearby areas like Woodland Hills or Agoura Hills often cost less due to lower demand while staying convenient.
For high-value items like antiques, musical instruments, or wine collections, look for storage with climate control and strong security. Premium storage near Old Town Calabasas often includes temperature-controlled units, 24/7 surveillance, and concierge services for specialized needs.
If you need long-term storage or space for bulky items, consider locations near less busy areas like Las Virgenes Road to save money without losing quality. Some storage facilities in Calabasas work with local movers to offer full-service options, a helpful perk for those moving locally.
