- We needed a storage unit for a few months and I called several in the area. The ones closest to our home had no availability, so I had to look elsewhere. I found two less expensive than Public Storage but when I actually looked at them, I was dismayed ... no gate, no real security ... and in one case the access was not paved. We chose Public Storage and are SO glad we did. Got a discount for booking online, and Property Manager Lashanda proved to be a delight to work with. She's efficient, professional, and personable ... a great combination. The unit itself is clean, in good condition, and there's plenty of room to park and negotiate loading and unloading. I guess a good description would be that Public Storage takes its job seriously, and this is a professional storage center.
