- They assigned me a unit that was in a building across the street. Had no idea there were buildings across the street. Once the unit was found (next day) the slide handle was so rusted it was hard to get open. Once it did open the door flung up so fast that it went over the stopping mechanism! It took 3 people to fix the door to where we could close it and lock it! The ceiling is showing cave in. And it was very dirty. I took pictures. If I wasn't desperate I would've left and canceled. I would also recommend that they put a map with unit numbers in their email they send you after you send payment. It was truly ridiculous trying to find the unit I was assigned.

- I like the unit and the location. I feel the site is secure. However, getting the unit has been a pain! Nobody on site so you do everything online. I have been charged THREE times! THREE! My 5x10 unit is 56 bucks and change for the first month (with discount from promo). They have charged me that amount three times so they are sitting on about 113 bucks of MY money, and I have yet to get a resolution! I am PISSED OFF!

- Pros: Low end of cost. Units seem clean and well maintained. Cons: There are no actual human beings to provide service. Everything is done through a kiosk or on line. There are times when I prefer to use a kiosk -- I can fumble around and figure out what I want without feeling pressured -- but there are also times when I would like to have a human being to talk to, ask questions, get help. I have never rented a storage unit before so I would have liked some personal assistance.

- We are currently moving to the Toledo area and for the past six months we have been storing things at A+ storage in anticipation of this move. A few weeks ago we had rented a one-way rental to bring even more things from our previous home to the A+ storage waiting on our closing Day at our new home. While my husband was dropping off the rental truck at A+ storage some important medical cards fell out of his coat pocket and we didn’t realize it until after we had locked the truck and dropped the keys into the night dropbox. I frantically called and left a message and Amy returned that call immediately and explained that she would go in on her day off the next day to check out the truck to see if the cards were indeed there. The next morning she called back as she said she would and had the cards in hand. She kept them at the office until my husband was able to pick them up a few days later after the majority of our furniture had been moved into our new home. We highly recommend A+ storage. The facility is always clean and always well lit. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.
