- Signed up on Sparefoot at $18 per month for a 5x5. First month free. Moved in. Paid two months at $18. Third month they increased my rate by 90% to $32 and added another $15 in liability insurance on my next bill. $47 now. The online site doesn't allow to change the amounts paid so their autopayment attempted to steal $52 off my credit card on file on April 1. TWICE. I blocked it. On April 7th they sent a late notice and added another $20. $67 now. I emailed the office. No response. Called. Office was closed during business hours. Visited the building. I'm locked out. Office is closed at 10AM. April Cruz emails me from North Bergen NJ office. Sends some smart ass threat email to pay my bill or else they liquidate my property. They cut off my lock and replaced it with their overlock. My access is locked out. Unit is locked. I sued them in Mount Vernon City Court. SC-000627-25/MV for full value of my property and filed a complaint with NY Attorney General Consumer office for fraud and theft of property under NY Lien Law S182. Their current advertised rate for the same 5x5 unit is $9 per month. Half my original rate. They're criminals. Move out and do not rent from them.

- My family has moved 4-5 times in the past 4 years. We have had to move our items into storage previously and chose Uhaul prior to finding Public Storage. We will never use another facility to store our items other than Public Storage. The pricing is fair in comparison but the space of the actual storage room is abundant. The facility is top notch. The halls are very clean, and it seems very secure. The employees are all extremely professional and incredibly customer service oriented. I had the pleasure of working with Arelis. She was wonderful. She answered all of my questions and showed me around the facility prior to move in. She went through the contract with me which I thought was wonderful because many times you may sign something & miss the fine print. Arelis made sure that did not happen. She was patient, kind, and understanding to our storage needs. A absolute pleasure and highly recommend storing here than at the any competitors. I am now a loyal customer due to this employee interaction and this location.

- I am leaving this review as a new customer who is very satisfied so far, and the fact that this is a new facility which is still clean (immaculate, actually). In 6 months to a year from now, I'd like to review this facility again so I'm saving this email. But so far the price is extremely reasonable (let's see if they raise it every 6 months or so like the other facilities do). The customer service was excellent. I think I dealt with Kelvin (can't remember his name) but he was very nice and knowledgable. The storage units, elevators, garage, and hallways are all very clean. It is easy to access with a key fob. The carts are new and work great.

- I rented the unit on Sunday the 9th. I paid for a month the move in extra charge, and the mandatory insurance on the 9th. I registered at the time for auto pay. Since all billing is on the 1st you loose whatever days into the month you are when you rent. That is bad enough. On the 12 I got a bill in the mail for the 2nd months rent. I have not even had time to move anything. There are lots of extra charges beware
