- This is a newer establishment so the units are in excellent condition. The indoor units can be a bit tricky to get to depending on the location. Weekends during 11:00-1:00 appear to be the busiest times for accessing units
However for the affordable price, it is a fantastic option.
The staff during my initial check-in were very courteous in getting me setup!
I did most of the paperwork online to save time.
All-in-all I would definitely recommend this business.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout Massachusetts, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs. The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts.
- Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.
- For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.
- Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.
- Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.
- Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.
- The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.
- Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
- Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.
- Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.
- Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.
- Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.
Are there free storage deals in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts?
Many companies offer promotions for new customers, such as a free first month. Search by your zip code or distance to locate cheap storage units that come with the first month free and other decent storage discounts. Take advantage of specials if you're a first-time renter.
How do I find the cheapest storage in Mattapoisett?
You can sort by price, from low to high, to find affordable options on our website. Away from the city center, you have a better chance of finding inexpensive storage rental solutions. The facility's size and amenities affect the monthly price.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.
Mattapoisett is a coastal town in Plymouth County along Buzzards Bay, which affects storage demand due to higher humidity and salt air exposure. Homes near waterfront areas such as Brandt Island Cove and Mattapoisett Harbor face a higher moisture intrusion risk, which increases demand for sealed indoor units. Seasonal population changes tied to summer occupancy contribute to short-term storage demand within town boundaries.
Local access to storage in Mattapoisett depends on Massachusetts Route 6, which runs east-west through town and serves as the main corridor to nearby commercial areas. Traffic volume increases during the summer months due to coastal travel toward Marion and Fairhaven, which affects peak-hour access times. Storage locations closer to Route 6 experience higher demand due to easier regional access.
Storage prices in Mattapoisett vary based on proximity to Mattapoisett Village or the Brandt Island Road area, where real estate demand is higher. Units farther inland, such as those near Tinkham Hill Road, often have lower monthly costs. When cost is a concern, search inland along less-trafficked roads for better value.
Climate conditions in Mattapoisett include summer humidity that often exceeds 70% and winter temperature swings driven by coastal winds. These conditions can affect stored items sensitive to moisture or temperature variation. Proximity to the bay contributes to salt-laden air, which accelerates corrosion on metal items stored long-term.
Facilities near Mattapoisett Harbor or in the Eel Pond area experience higher humidity year-round. If you're storing furniture, books, or electronics, use climate-controlled units in these coastal areas to prevent mold or moisture damage.
