- I am renting a storage unit because I sold my house and need a place to keep some things. I found that if you do your research and look at pricing online you can get a great deal. The trick is to reserve online otherwise that price may go up $50 within a few days. Also make sure if you have a lock, bring it in to the counter with you and show the clerk. I didn't realize that I was going to be paying for a lock until the person on duty had opened the package and billed me $20 for a lock. Not once did they ask if I had my own, or mention cost. They kind of slid it in probably trying to make more of a commission by not saying anything.

- The storage facility is close to our home, so it is very convenient. My suggestion would be to personally go to the site and view the available units to pick the best one for your use. Some of the ones I saw had a steep step into the unit or was partially blocked by a post. Also check to make sure the door operates properly and light fixture works before selecting your unit.
