- Viera Midguard We called and reserved a 10x15 storage unit in advance. We were assured that we had a 10x15 unit reserved. We were also emailed a confirmation of the unit and date we were moving in. We were moving from a different state. We came to pay for it on a Friday. That following Monday we had our movers scheduled to store a lot of our belongings in the unit. When we got there to pay for the storage unit, Midgurad had rented the unit to someone else. There were no more units of that size left. We were told that a reservation does not gurantee that you will have a unit available. WHAT???? We had to rent two units (10x10 and 10x5) to make sure that everything would fit. This meant we had to pay twice for $30 administration fee and insurance. The movers came Monday and we were able to stuff everything into the 10X10 unit. That same day, we came to office and asked for our money back for the 10X5 unit since we no longer needed it or even used it. We have been waiting for over two and half weeks for someone to refund our money or place the money from the 10x5 to the other unit's rent. We have gone in at least five time and talked to the workers inside. They are unable to help us. The management has to refund our money for us. There is no one you can call that is a manager. Believe me we have tried. We keep hearing that the request for a refund has been made from the onsite workers but nothing has been done by management. We have asked serval times to have the workers tell their manager to call us. Crickets.......Nothing!!! This can be easily fixed if someone would just take the time to help us. We are very frustrated!!!
