- Prime is a large corporation. Once you realize and accept that, you might understand why they are the way they are. I'm forced to purchase insurance through them which is another cost that keeps increasing every year or even more often throughout the year along with the unit rental cost. Of course, you can provide them a copy of your home/renter insurance policy instead. Yeah right. Why can't I make a declaration of alternate insurance or waive my right to protection. There is nothing in my unit that can or will be covered by any insurance. There is no value past sentimental or nostalgia in my unit. I could go on and on about this place but I need the space.
