- I will only be using the storage unit for 2-3 months. So when we went looking for one this was actually the closes one to our home. When I arrived I was greeted by Nancy. She is a very thoughtful professional person. She explain all the options, and the must have lists with me. Everything she presented was clear & even clarified with me. I hope that Public Storage knows that she is a great team member. The reason for the 4 stars - mainly because the facility gate is always given me/us issues getting inside. The lighting in the hallways could be brighter (it is more of the motion detectors issue - they come on and are not very bright). I mentions this because other folks I have met & talked to have the same issue. Once again, Nancy at this facility is outstanding. Looking forward to being a Public Storage customer/client in the future.

She maintained a warm, friendly and very patient demeanor the entire time I was there. I was very inquisitive and even changed my mind about a unit. - My husband and I went on a Sunday we needed to get a 15 by 15 climate control unit. We found that the climate control buildings doors were not seal properly and one door was actually hit by a vehicle and bent to wear it didn't even close or lock. You could smell the mildew within the building. Although the staff was very nice the gentleman working did not know much about the property at all he said he was new and he was also training somebody which we found to be very strange. Why have someone new who doesn't know quite what they're doing training someone else? he also advised me the property have been broken into recently after I asked him about security and if there were any issues I appreciated him not lying to me but found that for the price of the unit I was willing to rent this place was very old and in dire need of repair. Our plan was to rent the 15 by 15 for 6 months to a year but we are just going to rent for a month or two there and move our items to another property that was in better condition.I wish that public storage would invest some money in this property to get it fixed it is in dire need of repair and because I used to work with in the industry these things need to be fixed in order to secure the building as apparently there is problems within the neighborhood with break-ins. Mildew was huge concern and with the doors not being secure it will definitely continue to be a problem until those doors can close and lock.

- I have had the best experience and money spent at Public Storage of Crofton. They had the best pricing of all the storage centers in the Crofton and Odenton/Fort Meade area. It was about $40 cheaper than competitors.They were super iinformative and customer based-they even worked around my hectic work schedule to make sure I had the best experience offered. Finding a place to rent for your personal items is hard!! I felt that Public Storage not only had the best pricing but also the friendliest staff and easy to use units as well. I can access anytime. I have my own lock and I trust that the customer service desk knows me and will keep good care of my things. I'm thrilled to store my furniture and belongings there and won't go anywhere else!!!

Big job unloading a big house was made very easy. I rented 3 units, these ladies got them very close together for me. I am so thankful I chose this location.
