- I needed the storage unit and the free rental truck that comes with the promotion. My storage unit was in Waukegan, and I had to go pick up the truck from the north Chicago location. The lady at the north Chicago location was not accommodating and talked me out of getting the truck because she didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t think I was going to return it in time. Very disappointed. I had to rent a uhaul. Very happy with my uhaul experience. The lady at the North Chicago location did not provide good customer service and Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢m glad I didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t pick that location for a storage unit. The lady at the Waukegan location, however, was very nice and sweet.

- Pros: convenient location; like being able to drive into climate-controlled facility; price is reasonable for unit Cons: hidden fees ($29 admin fee); customer service* I received initially left a bit to be desired (see below) *While ultimately nice and helpful, when I came in to rent my pre-reserved unit on a Saturday, the representative at the desk was on the phone & let me stand there waiting for a good 10-15 minutes while she was chatting before finally assisting me. When she got off she told me she was on with her boss’s boss. I have a worked in customer service a long time and would be willing to bet that if she had told him she had a customer waiting he would’ve been fine with her putting him on hold or calling him back. Instead, she continued her casual conversation and let me wait. She also wasn’t wearing a mask despite Illinois mask mandate and was also coughing due to “allergies”. After coughing she finally said “oh.. guess I could put my mask on”. (Ya think!?) Again, she was ultimately fine when it came to admin and walking me to the unit, but not a great first impression. If I hadn’t just moved everything out of another unit & had a car load of equipment I needed to put in storage right then & there, I likely would’ve walked out & rented elsewhere based on the first interaction/lack of respect for my time.

- Wonderful facility and staff. Everything was kept clean and dry, and the temperature controlled lockers are wonderful. On top of it all the staff was beyond helpful. David was of tremendous assistance to me when I was ready to leave my locker. At the desk, Hattie was fantasic and helpful as well helping me get on my way and never letting a smile leave her face. Great facility, great team, great job!

- Descent place got an incredible deal by reserving a unit online!!! Place has well kept amenities such as working keypad gate nice big elevator and plenty of unit types to choose from. The only thing better than the convenience is the help from Kathy! - This place had exactly what I needed. The unit was the perfect size for my belongings. I had to change the size of the unit a week prior to moving in due to the fact that I miscalculated the size of my things. They were able to accommodate me, but originally told me there was no promotion available on the unit because it was the last one of that size. When I came to check in, I was told the same thing, however I brought a screenshot of the promotion they had online. The manager Zena had to make a phone call, but she was able to get this corrected in her system. Overall, I am very pleased with this place!
