- Excellent customer service when I called in and when I arrived. The agent at the desk was very professional and spent some time understanding my storage needs. He made some valuable suggestions. I didn't know though, that the doors lock down at 10 pm. I had been in mid-shuffle to the unit and I left my doors open and went to my car to check on something and I was locked out. The facility says it is 24 hours. I heard later that one needs to pay extra for that convenience. Also didn't know when I could come back in the morning. Just need new folks to get that information.

At the physical storage, the process took another 10 minutes to complete. Compared to other storage companies, this is way too long. All costs should be made transaparent upfront like compulsory insurance and admin fee.

- I didn’t sign up for protection but they’re charging me for it. My rent is supposed to be $21/month, that’s what I agreed to, nothing more. It’s impossible to find an actual person to help you without going through a maze of nonsense. The security doors on unit D don’t work at all, so the doors are constantly left unlocked. There’s no direction for where your unit is and if there’s a lock on your unit before move-in you’re not emailed the code to the lock AT ALL so you have to figure out where the one person who works there is because at the entrance to the building all you’re met with is two tablets… I hate everything about this place and I wouldn’t recommend it. If I didn’t need to store my washer and dryer (that I had to move by myself) there I would have left the first day. It took me more than two hours to figure out literally anything. There’s no help, the one associate is lazy and going away in the hidden office. I can’t stand it! I’ll be moving the second I have help to get my heavy appliances. Screw this nonsense.

- This is the second time I have rented from A-1. The price is excellent compared to others. It's always clean. I have never seen any bugs or trace's of rodents. You couldn't ask for a better office staff. Jennifer the office manager, she is always available to take care of your needs. Can't say enough about her.
