Needed to move my stuff from another city to this location. I rented the unit from an ad with an online promotion of one free month. I specifically chose this situation so that I could give notice to my other storage place and it would be no extra cost to me. I wound up having to spend extra phone and e-mail time that I did not expect, and-there were issues over insurance I carried my own already. They implemented their insurance and billed me for it after I had already shown proof of my current policy but we worked it out. SHAY at the headquarters she helped me get everything Straightened out if I could write a review on her I would give a five star rating. reason for my 3 1/2 star rating is that it is hard to get a hold of a person on site.and it was a bit of a hassle. When I did finally see somebody in person it was not a bad experience we did have a lack of communication over an upgrade. Because in the (ONLINE promotion )the free month and price was my reason for choosing KO . I upgraded to a larger size unit however I was not told that the promotion would not apply to the upgrade slight oversight I’m sure. And a case of the “Right hand not knowing what the Left hand is doing “all in all, it’s a pretty nice facility Thank you Shay.

If your homeowner insurance doesn't cover your items, usually the facility manager will help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions would be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renters insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but the coverage does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID(driver’s license, state ID or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6am – 10pm seven days a week, you can access your unit by using your individual gate code. During office hours, the company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests otherwise.
