I store my 36 Ft. RV Motor Home at Main Street storage. I like the location on a main road but set back in a clean quiet location that is fully enclosed with security fencing, locked gate access. The location is very safe and quiet. I have been very happy here. Great place.

This is one of the better places in Summerville to store an RV. It is very close to our home, out of sight from the road and well protected. The staff has always been very friendly and most helpful. Bottom line is we have no worries about our motorhome after we park it.

I have used this facility on 3 separate occasions. My experience has always been pleasant and I have used this facility repeatedly due to the fact that it is the best climate controlled building I have trusted to store my life long possessions in. The staff are always pleasant, kind and polite and I have had good experiences with my dealings with them. I would definitely recommend this place to people in need of storage.

I have utilized and continue to hold space with Main Road Self Storage since I've moved here from AZ back in 2010. The main and original facility is always kept clean every time I've stopped by my space. Fortunately, my price has been locked in since I've been with them and with auto billing set, I've had no problems other than updating the information of the credit card. When I did consider to change storage providers, their pricing is still competitive to the local market. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to store your belongings or utilize their equipment.

This year I am currently deployed and had to jump through a couple hoops to get a land line phone call during hours of operation to make my yearly payment. I quickly explained I don't have much time to do pay, the cashier was super nice and accommodating. Took all of 3 minutes and a receipt was emailed to me within 2 hrs. Thanks again

Never rent from here. The owner is truly awful. The weekend that we moved into our unit I also rented two moving trucks from her and an auto transport. She actually yelled at me because I questioned the ball that she placed on my vehicle. I wasn't rude and was taken aback by her outburst. I informed her as a customer that I had every right to inquire about the mechanics of the device and its abilities. After all they're my vehicles both towing and being towed. That was only the beginning. I didn't intend on keeping our HHG in storage for so long, but 2 transfers overseas in a year has made it so. We're are hoping to fly back this fall just to move everything out of her storage facility and rent somewhere else. I've emailed her on two separate occasions asking to have our rent charged to the card on file, they didn't do it. Both times charged us late fees and sent threatening emails. She kept emailing saying that we were 45 days past due and we weren't. I had our bank send her all charges showing her that we were up to date. Ten emails later and a lot of frustration just trying to communicate with her we found that we owed $3.45. My husband and I were both at a loss trying to figure out what we owed. She just kept saying it was her right to cut the lock on our unit. Your current bill will show double the amount due..you have to look closely to see she's already processing next months amount. I'm no stranger to long term storage facilities, but this one is so not worth the aggravation. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else!

So, when I was renting from a major company, they kept changing the rates higher and higher every 6 months to a year. One day I needed a second unit at my old place for 1 month to sort out my stuff to weed out garage sale stuff (and they had promised me a 1/2 rate for a second unit). I found out that it had changed ownership again and not only would they be increasing my rent, I would have to pay full price for another unit. So I went that day to look for another storage facility. And I found Main Road Self Storage and Ms. Jeanette. Not only did they have a clean, temperature controlled unit (that I feel safe in working by myself) but she was willing to help me out on a second unit to get organized again. Polite and friendly staff that is a pleasure to work with and knowing that it's a local business owner is fantastic. They haven't changed rates on me, they have been accommodating in moving me up in storage unit size when I needed it, and have uHaul rental and shipping capabilities on site. It can't get any better and I'm so happy that I've made the move. I recommend this place to all my friends.
