21st Century Storage had a nice clean storage space that came at an affordable rate and was convenient for me to store my stuff over the summer when I left university. The only issue was that when I got there with my boxes, there was only one lady to help me in the morning and I had to wait half an hour for the manager to come although the place was supposed to be open and my move-in was scheduled. The people were very nice however and otherwise the place provided me with a lock and a code and I feel secure about storing my things there.

I didn't know what to expect, once I arrived I can honestly say was very impressed. Explained the policy in simple terms, asked me if I had any questions and gave me straight forward answers. One last thing, they have their own storage locks. Believe me it's worth it and anyone trying to cut that lock will have a serious challenge. The storage prices are very reasonable......

On the outside, both the facility and neighborhood looked a bit rough, but on the inside the staff were friendly and helpful and the storage unit was clean and modern. Chris, the District Manager is a pleasure to deal with, very personable and knowledgeable. This facility not only has good pricing, but they are great community citizens. For example they donate to a different charity every month. They collect unwanted items from customers storage units and organize them to be donated. How cool is that? Not sure any other storage company does that. This facility is also secure and at the same time easy to access for renters.

First off 2 people that would there are just plain dishonest. Millie will lie through her teeth to get you to rent there. I was told that she would lock me into the rate for two years if I stay long term..... Yeah right. 6 months into it boom 1st increase.WITH NO NOTIFICATION. Now onto the idiot that is the Manager there all you hear from him for about 18 months is that they are working on fixing the leaks.. It's like a cave in the place on the lower level.... mold, slime cicles growing on the ceilings... how do they fix it???? Buckets.... who which the lovely class of people that rent there use for bathrooms. I have seen bowel movements in these buckets tgat stay there for weeks. Beware L&I have been notified and also the BBB.... crooked to the core.

There were some slight additional fees from the listed price, that weren't explained until after the contract was printed, but its minimal, and the prices are great, even with the mandatory insurance fee. Awesome facility!

My experience at this facility was excellent. The staff were very pleasant to me the entire visit. One of the staff members Russell, walked me to my unit and helped me out with my things because I didn't have any help. He was very pleasant and patient with all of my silly questions and had an answer for everything. He even returned the cart when I was done with it. After driving out to the facility ready to move in, they closed the office for over an hour without any prior notice because "they had to run to the bank" this was at 9:30AM when they opened at 9. After finally getting into the office, the lady was EXTREMELY rude and impolite. After explaining my frustration, she informed me that "she was pregnant and hadn't eaten anything all day...so she had problems too". This was after saying she was going to give me a discount but would not do so now since I kept asking her to "hurry up" which was not true. I simply asked her to be on my way as quickly as possible when she began ringing up the customer behind me instead of beginning my paper work. In addition to all of this, I never received as much as an apology. I'm appalled at the lack of customer service and will most likely moving to a different unit (not associated with spare foot) in the very near future.

I moved in 2 days ago. I didn't go there before I booked it online b/c the reviews were so good. My hubby is upset about the neighborhood (ROUGH AREA) but I really don't care about that, and the bldg itself seems very secure. BUT: The sliding door that allows u access to ur row of units was inexplicably broken (a shock to the rep) so we had to keep propping the regular door open (which locks from the outside), & with the dolly blocking the only entrance/egress, you couldn't get by holding anything worthwhile. We would have held the door open with something else to keep the entry clear, EXCEPT, the ground was FILTHY with a dirty syringe, potato chip bag, and (I HOPE) potato chips that had been rained on and formed a mushy gross substance on the ground. Ergo, we didn't want ANYTHING to hit the ground and didn't even want to walk on it. The roller door was open right next to us, so I stepped in there to see if we could use it. Directly inside THAT door was a leftover chicken dinner from kfc. NO wonder there was a mouse trappy thing in my unit when he opened it. He said there is no pest problem, just a precaution. We had to keep this reservation, our old storage lease is up this week, but I was there 10 min and already looking to move to a new place. I am calling today to see if that area was cleaned and door fixed, that was such a hassle. To be very disappointed is an understatement. I don't understand these reviews, you are either employees are just lying for no reason. When I was signing up, a woman was complaining that her stuff was ruined by water damage. I asked about that, and the rep said I have no worries about that, i have climate control and she didn't. BUT, there is an area that leaks, and he says he won't rent those b/c of it, but other workers don't care and still rent them. WHY would u operate with units u know are leaky and ruin people's stuff? If I didn't have a Uhaul outside full of stuff, I would have walked away.
