Property Manager did a great job. Very knowledgeable. I reserved the unit on line and was promised a Labor Day special price to be locked in. But when I got to the facility I was told that my monthly cost would double because I had already rented from Public Storage in another state. Raw deal. Can't understand why a returning customer can't take advantage of a Labor Special price????

The guy behind the counter was really nice (I forgot his name). He showed us around the place and how everything worked. It's nice that all the units are inside. Most storage places come off as sketchy and shady....this one doesn't come off that way probably because of how nice the guy behind the counter was. Wish I could remember your name.

We've just moved our stuff from a larger unit into a smaller one after six months of renting here. Initial rental and then move were made so much easier by Jack. He's friendly and helpful. The storage warehouse itself is convenient to access and easy to use. We recommend this place to anyone in the area.

If you need extra storage space, Public Storage should be the first place you check out. They offer great move-in specials, including your first full month's rental for just $1.00. They have many convenient locations all over the country; so there is bound to be a Public Storage close to you.

I have to tell you, Jack is a valuable asset to your company.when i first came in I did not tell the whole truth to Jack. I was only concerned about helping a disabled vet suffering from a severe case of PTSD. With nowhere to store his things So first thing the next day I went back to tell Jack the whole story. He took it better than i would have. He needed to know the situation I put him in. Jack thanked me I left and I started looking for the vet.I still can't believe how cool and calm Jack was..Please tell him I think a great deal of him.and I am doing my best to get the veteran in there to straighten this thing out. Of all the storage places in town Im sure the one we picked is the only one with a manager like Jack , he runs the place like its Fort Knox.and is still able to treat the clients wuth respect and understanding

Do I need to rent a climate controlled unit?

If you have delicate items such as musical instruments, computers, pictures, antique wood furniture, it is recommended to select a climate controlled unit. Climate controlled storage units protect against rust, corrosion, mold, cracking, and warping.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?An outdoor storage unit is one that has a direct access and usually drive-up accessible. An indoor unit is located within the building.

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items that you store. Storage facility's insurance provides protection for the location that houses the storage units and not the contents of individual storage units. If your homeowner insurance doesn't cover your items, usually the facility manager will help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions would be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renters insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but the coverage does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID(driver’s license, state ID or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6am – 10pm seven days a week, you can access your unit by using your individual gate code. During office hours, the company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests otherwise.
