Though the facility is a little dirty, it’s very quiet and feels safe. Units are exactly as described, no more no less. Ann is a very good customer service representative and I would work with her again.

Reserved a spot via with a no-fee cancellation of a week. Several calls & emails after to complete the res despite communicating our intent. Got our trailer that wknd, finalized storage and parked it there shortly after (key pad didn’t work on arrival and made for an inconvenience towing it to work). Although we paid for the “one” remaining larger spot (15x30), there was no designated parking. I contacted the rep again and stated for such reasons we want the lower rate for our small trailer. They easily obliged and credited us the difference. Next day… I’m contacted and told I need to move it to a designated spot, and provided an overhead image of the facility with marked spaces. Probably should’ve provided the direction to us from the start. I stated I couldn’t do so that day but would the next morning. Later got another call about needing to move… We were told the “site manager” had come through and noted that all the vehicles in the large area need to be moved for upcoming expansion. Again, stated I had just told her we’d be moved the next morning. Note two weeks later… no one else has moved. Fast forward a few short weeks, and we get an unexpected call from another facility that a space is available near our home so we jump on it. Acknowledging the contract with this Hinesville facility notes 10-day notice for move-out… the online request link states requests must be provided at least 7-days prior to billing… and the rep (same one for most communication) after in confirming our move-out request didn’t mention anything of the 10-day req but did say to let her know when we’ve moved our vehicle so the account can be closed out. So we did so at our convenience, thought it was considerate to tell them rather than wait a week, and then on the close out notice we see that we get zero refund of the $10 credit balance or the $25 “cleaning deposit” because we didn’t give 10-days notice.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?An outdoor storage unit is one that has a direct access and usually drive-up accessible. An indoor unit is located within the building.

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items that you store. Storage facility's insurance provides protection for the location that houses the storage units and not the contents of individual storage units. If your homeowner insurance doesn't cover your items, usually the facility manager will help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions would be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renters insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but the coverage does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID(driver’s license, state ID or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6am – 10pm seven days a week, you can access your unit by using your individual gate code. During office hours, the company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests otherwise.
