Review: I was getting overcharged at public storage, and rent increased by $20 almost every other month, for a 5x10 I was paying $145 I went to trojan and got a 10x10 first 2 months 1/2 off n then it'll be around 95 or so, n I can get in until 9pm to store my tools afterwork other place closes at 6, crystal who helped me was very professional and helpful, and explained everything to me, I'm happy with itрџ‘Ќ

Review: While you can't beat the price especially on a promotion, what they don't tell you is they go by CALENDAR month. Meaning if you rent a storage in the middle of the month (like I did) and they have a promotion going on (like they do now) for 50% off 3 months rent, you actually only get that rate for 2 1/2 months not the full amount of time. Which I think is crap! They also don't allow dogs on the facility grounds, EVEN ESA dogs which is highly illegal, and when the guy behind the counter saw my dog he immediately told me that the dog has to remain in my car while on premesis. The only reason I listened was because it was raining out. But my dog goes where I go at all times. Can't be the price tho.

Review: I’m a new tenant of just a few days, so here’s the story so far: The Montecito Vista facility is just a year old and it’s nice to have such a clean joint. The place is so well-lit everywhere, it might hurt your eyes after a while! Everything is easy to access and there are plenty of rolling carts to borrow, if needed. Security is sweet, with units double-locking when you exit the grounds and many cameras covering the place. Downside: the gate is right at the street, and people can easily wander in. Some crazy person managed to rifle through things in the open truck during the unloading and made off with some items, so keep a VERY close eye on your stuff if you park that near the entrance! Trojan is a growing company, so that may give some further confidence, if you’re on the fence, and that neighborhood is also developing rapidly.

Review: The storage itself looks fancy and fine. But the rules there are disgusting!! So when you sign the agreement, they put down that you can use either disc lock or cylinder lock. So the night when we moved in, I spent hours to find a disc lock around with my crying kids. Immediately, second day, the people working there told us, we have to use cylinder lock!!! Because the different site is using different rules!! Won't you think that they should put this down in the agreement? Or they just want to make more money by selling cylinder locks? And if you don't put cylinder lock on, they will keep calling you and texting you when you at work!! When I argued with them according to the agreement I signed, they just said "I don't make the rules". This is the first time and will be the last time that I have business with them!!

Bring statement of renters or home insurance coverage otherwise required to pay monthly for insurance Must buy their lock. 30 day notice to vacate. If dissatisfied, tenant ONLY has 3 days to cancel (by CA LAW) "most contracts" with full refund WITH VACATED UNIT.

Review: I've rented storage units a few times in the past. I usually go with the ones that are well known like Public Storage or Extra Space Storage. I have to say, I've never heard of Trojan Storage and only went with them simply because of their pricing. It was the most budget friendly of all the other storage places. I know that's taking a risk, but I needed a storage unit that wouldn't break the bank. I was impressed. Most secured storage space I've been to. They have cameras indoor and outdoor of their facilities. The code to go in is required for even the entrance to the building, not just the through the gate. Plus they use a different lock for their units. I have the disk locks and they use the cylinder locks which I've never used, so I had to buy one. I would recommend this place for sure.

Review: I needed to find a storage unit and only had a and only had a few hours to do so.. I called Trojan storage and Trojan storage and within minutes I had a store I had a storage space reserved it's reserved. After I reserve the unit I picked up a load of things that needed to be moved into storage and went to Trojan storage and within 20 minutes, I had my unit and I was moving my stuff in. The staff was very helpful and the place was extremely clean and they have great gate hours.

Review: I'd never used or needed a storage place in the past, but I just sold my place and it will be a couple of months before I move to my eventual destination. So, I didn't know what to expect with regard to price or experience. An influencing factor with my choice of place was that, among my home furniture, I had several antiques that are owned by my sister. She'd bought and prized these pieces, but didn't have anywhere in her own home to keep them. So, I was able to enjoy them in my place...but now that I'm moving out, she wanted them stored in a climate-controlled unit. This place offered that feature as well as a great intro rate for 3 months. Added bonus was that the inside is shiny and impeccably clean. It's a little unnerving how MANY storage lockers were just on that floor, alone! The gentleman at the desk was very nice and helpful, but he told me that he was short-staffed (2 people calling in sick). As a result, it took me hours of calling to get him on the phone for some follow-up questions. Bad luck on my part...but it still made the experience a little stressful.

Review: Good value for the Bay especially if you get a move in special. Many new or never used units. Note, access to move in is not 24/7. This did cause issues but understand it can help with security. Also, you will be charged to buy a cylinder lock unless you already have one. It was like 15 or 20 bucks. 22 one time admin fee as well.

Review: I recently rented a 10x10 ground floor unit from here. I didn’t realize it until after I had unloaded all of my stuff into my unit that the ceiling of my unit had no ceiling. It is completely open and not secure. There is a small storage unit located directly above my unit that allows full access to the above space over my storage unit. In fact, every 10x10 ground floor unit has the same defect, which is open for anyone using the facilities push ladder to remove items from the 10x10 ground floor units by just climbing on top of the smaller storage units and reaching into the ground floor units and taking whatever they want.
