I and my husband are currently moving, we are out of state, so i rented and paid for the unit at StorQuest - Mission Hills online to get everything prepared for my moving company, so they can come and just unload my items there. Ive signed a lease agreement online, filled out DL info and so on. First thing that i noticed - they haven't sent us a gate code. I called to the CS line and nice lady checked my account, verified it and gave me the gate access code. I informed her that I am out of state, moving, my driver will be there. I called the driver that everything is prepared for him, he came to the location - there is a LOCK on the unit ive rented. He informed me about this, I called CS line again and they told me that i need to be present personally to make a "check in". It is my third move and I worked this way with other storages earlier - rented online and moving crew just unloaded things in my unit without any problem. So back to StorQuest - I explained again that I CANT BE PRESENT PERSONALLY. Lady in CS told me that she's going to call facility manager. Ok. After holding for sometime, she informed me that they are at lunch and there's no one in their office now. Ok. Lady was very nice and advised that storage facility manager will reach out to me to resolve this. He never did. Once the manager, Andrew, got back from the lunch, my driver met him and Andrew refused him to give an access to MY unit I PAID FOR. After that Andrew leave with another customer-lady to show her a unit. I called CS line again, they advised me to email them my DL. Storage unit was rented under my husband's name, so I sent them a photo of my husband's DL. My driver was waiting almost 2 hours, after that Andrew got back to the office and told my driver that they are going to CANCEL my rental. After 2 hours of waiting, including the fact that I informed CS that I won't be present at their location. We totally wasted time and I have to pay the moving company for this time. Andrew was extremely rude to the driver.

Professional and very helpful staff. I really felt like they valued me as a customer. They worked hard to ensure that my move in and my move out went smoothly. They went the extra mile to help me when I moved in since my moving truck had to be towed in since it had broken down. Shylo provided as much help as she could and lended me a dolly since the towing and moving trucks could not fit down the driveways. Also when I moved out, she made the paperwork very easy to fill out. Both her and Hector were exremely pleasant people that were warm and always had a smile on their face. I couldnt have picked a better place to go. Oh! and my stuff was always fine and i felt it was very safe.

I have stored my tools at this location for 25 years. I am not happy that since it has become storquest the storage fees have gone up every year. I am now paying almost $700.00 a month for what once cost me under $500.00 just a few years ago. The economy has gotten worse and storage fees have gone up when they should have come down.

I didn't understand the pricing. If I knew that it important to have in it paid days of the first of the month instead of the appointed date I would have paid that day. Everything else is good.

I am not a storage expert, and I actually have to go there frequently to get things for work. My only problems are the hours are not late enough..only open until 9..and at 8 it is purely dark..could barely find my unit in the hallways. No trashcans anywhere either. I do like the place and it is easy access off the freeway. I would recommend it but do not go at night if you are a woman alone.

What size storage unit do I need?

It is approximately 75 square feet of space. This type of unit is suitable for the contents of a one-bedroom apartment, including major appliances.

10' x 25' Storage Unit

What is the height of the storage units?

Storage units are approximately 8 feet high.

Do I need to rent a climate controlled unit?

If you have delicate items such as musical instruments, computers, pictures, or antique wood furniture, it is recommended to select a climate-controlled unit. Climate-controlled storage units protect against rust, corrosion, mold, cracking, and warping.

What’s the difference between an indoor and an outdoor unit?
An outdoor storage unit has direct access and is usually drive-up accessible. An indoor unit is located within a building.

What items can't be put in a storage unit?

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals, or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items you store. The storage facility's insurance protects the location that houses the storage units, not the contents of individual units. If your homeowner's insurance doesn't cover your items, the facility manager can usually help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions will be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renter's insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but it does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, so check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6 am and 10 pm seven days a week, you can access your unit using your individual gate code. During office hours, company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests it.
