- My father had a larger unit. I was really tired of hearing him complain about how the price had risen to $100 from $ 60 when he first got it. He had a unit before Public Storage bought the storage facility and really liked that the people would have coffee and cookies for him when he went in to pay his bill. He was always saying how the Public Storage people only cared about getting his money. So I moved all his stuff into his garage and needed a smaller unit to store my stuff. The first time I went in I was given the runaround about pricing for the unit. I was not really concerned about getting a deal, I just needed to rent a small unit. The person said she would speak with her supervisor and get back to me, which did not happen. 2 or 3 Stars. So.... I made a reservation online which was less expensive and very easy. The second person I spoke with was very efficient and did a great job showing me the unit and handling the transaction. I was very impressed with the second person. I am sure if she had been there the first time I went , there would have been no problem. 5 Stars for her. So we are going with 4 Stars overall.
