I found my storage unit by doing an online search that landed me at selfstorage.com. Prime Storage on Fort Eddy Road, Manchester, NH, had the best deal for a 10x10 unit in my area which included the first month free! Conveniently, I was able to sign up for the membership online, complete all the necessary paperwork, and receive the entry access code beforehand. On move in day, a CSR greeted me and showed me around. He answered all of my questions and happily switched my original unit that was way up on the fifth floor, to a much closer unit on the second floor! This facility is located inside of an old mill building so itテ「竄ャ邃「s not set up like a typical storage facility. Overall Iテ「竄ャ邃「m happy with the size and price of my unit. Iテ「竄ャ邃「m MOST impressed by the excellent customer service. Do I recommend Prime Storage? YES! The reason I gave a 4 star rating is because the access hours are only until 6pm. Give us at least until 8pm!

I moved my belongings into my storage last July. The manager processed my storage unit and was very personable (which is hard to find now-a-days). Since then I have run into some financial hardship but have somehow managed to keep making payments in time to retain my unit and belongings. During this both employees I have dealt with have been courteous and helpful as well as understanding. The price is slightly high compared to other local storage units. And the gates lock at 9 which, for my personal schedule, is quite a pain. But overall it's been a pretty pain free experience.

There are things that could be done to improve the facility, like fixing the bathrooms, and I would prefer to use the access code without having to exit my car, but those are minor concerns against the value of the facility. Overall it is very satisfactory, especially for the price.

Finding and renting trusted self-storage facilities in Milford, New Hampshire is now easier through MoversCorp. Compare options and rent storage near you with just a few clicks. We provide the convenience of reserving affordable storage units online or by phone. No credit card or long-term contract is required. Consider us as your solution for finding and reserving a storage facility throughout New Hampshire, including options for mini storage units and storage containers to suit a variety of needs.

The cheapest storage unit in your area may not always be the best choice. Please consider the following factors when selecting a storage unit in Milford, New Hampshire.

  • Monthly rates are based on features such as 24/7 access, climate control, facility security, location, and overall demand in your area.

  • For household goods, the most common storage unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, and 10X15. For added flexibility, some companies also offer portable mini storage units for rent for temporary residential use that can be delivered to your property or hauled by you for on-site storage.

  • Many facilities offer larger unit sizes for commercial and business storage, like 10x20 or 10x30. These sizes are ideal for storing office equipment, inventory, or business records. These sizes can also accommodate vehicles, making them a great option for car storage.

  • Most storage facilities require insurance for stored items. If you don’t have your own policy, you may need to buy one through the facility, adding about $15 to $50 to your storage rental cost each month. Some places also charge a refundable deposit or an administrative fee when you move in. Always ask about these costs and refund conditions before signing a lease.

  • Storage facilities with flexible leases allow you to rent on a month-to-month basis. Be aware that storage unit price increases are common. Many customers say their rates go up after a few months, sometimes more than once a year. Since storage rentals are month-to-month, facilities can raise prices with proper notice. Ask about potential rate increases before committing to a unit.

  • The monthly rent will also depend on whether a facility offers climate-controlled units or only drive-up units. Climate-controlled units cost more than drive-up units or storage containers.

  • Most locations have digital keypad access, which provides you with your personal access code. Check with the office for availability.
  • Consider drive-up access for easier loading and unloading, especially for heavy or bulky items.

  • Some facilities may provide extra room or rental space for public use, such as areas for organizing or handling your stored items. Contact the property manager to confirm availability.

  • Check for online reviews and recommendations. Local experts can guide renters to facilities that stay available and maintain reliable service during peak demand.

  • Ask the office about the preventive security measures for safeguarding the location. Facilities with experienced staff often maintain stronger daily oversight by monitoring access logs and responding quickly to tenant concerns.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?

You have easy access to your unit when it is an outdoor unit. If the unit is indoors, you must first enter the building to get to it.

What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?

The property's operating hours are during office hours. The store manager will be on duty to help you with your questions. If you have questions or need help outside these hours, look up the property's phone number to contact the leasing office directly. The gate hours determine when you can enter the property and use your unit.

Why Trust Movers Corp

Movers Corp has been around since 2012. Thousands of consumers around the country used the company's moving and storage services. This is how our team establishes a trusting relationship with our customers.

Planning a move? Choosing the right moving team can make a big difference in ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience. Asking the right questions helps you check their experience, reliability, and service quality. Being well-informed, from insurance coverage to handling specialty items, can help you avoid surprises and protect your belongings.
Questions for Movers

The moving process may seem straightforward to most of us, but it often isn't. On the final bill, you may see charges that don't make sense (this is not the case with every move). These are called "hidden charges." Follow these tips to avoid unexpected fees.
Moving Costs

Many people try to save money by hiring day laborers to help with moving instead of professional movers. These workers are often not licensed or insured, which means you are responsible if something breaks or someone gets hurt.

Professional movers use proven techniques and protective materials to protect your furniture and home, while day laborers may lack the training or tools to prevent damage. This can lead to scratched floors, broken items, or costly repairs. These expenses can quickly erase any upfront savings.
Professional Movers vs Day Laborers

Moving is expensive, and everyone wants to save money. There are many related expenses, but Movers Corp has prepared some cost-saving tips for you.
How to Reduce Moving Expenses

Glassware breaks easily if not packed right, which can cause expensive damage and safety risks. Reinforced double-walled boxes offer better protection against impacts. Foam inserts, honeycomb paper wraps, and inflatable air cushions protect items by absorbing shocks during transit. Molded pulp or high-density foam dividers stop items from clinking together. Applying tilt and shock indicator labels helps handlers move fragile items safely.
How to Pack Dishes and Glassware

Small details play a major role in planning a move. Even minor information can affect timing and preparation. Sharing as many details as possible helps movers understand the full scope of the job. This reduces confusion and limits last-minute changes.
