I am so glad we found Allen Ave Self Storage because the monthly rate if fair, the people are nice, it's secure and clean. What I also love is that they sign for packages, for you. So, if you don't trust your management office at your apartment or mail room at work, just send your packages to Allen Ave Self Storage and they can sign for you and keep it secure until you pick it up. Love that.

Review: I recently moved some of my belongings in to a unit at Allen Avenue Self Storage. I arrived the day before my move to fill out some paperwork. There was some small confusion about cost when I arrived, but this was rapidly resolved. On move in day, I was able to transfer my belongings straight in to the unit I had reserved and everything went very smoothly. I am impressed with the security of this facility - you have a personalised gate code and once this code is entered, it is linked to your storage unit. If someone tries to access your unit when they entered a different gate code, an alarm will be raised. I am confident that my belongings will be safe in this facility. Overall, this was a very positive experience.

Since then, I've had the pleasure of dealing with a staff that is always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable of services that will help me. Their spaces are always so clean. Eventhough my space was in the middle of a building and down a corridor I felt very safe. When I finally did vacate my space, I realized in what good condition my things were in. I had the best experience at this rental space. They have monthly discounts and everyone is so nice. I cannot speak enough about what a great experience I had here. Thanks Jaycee.

Review: I rented a 10’ U-Haul truck from Allen Storage and received great Customer Service. The reps were very polite and friendly, and because I am new to the city and area, they also gave me insight about the area. However, the truck was not so good. Although it operated alright, the truck had a sticky oil spot in the front right corner that we had to cover with cardboard. Also, the rear metal running board (bumper) was bent at about a 45 degree angle on the right side. This made it difficult for us to load and unload the truck. We would have switched trucks but it was the only one of that size available that day and I was under a tight schedule to get my move done. I suggest that the management make the repairs to the truck, which operated very well and was even surprisingly good on gas, however, its condition could cause someone injury or damage to their property.

Over the years, I have worked specifically with Mr. Jacey and he has been a tremendous blessing for me in my time of transition. Mr. Jacey continues to go above and beyond to assist me each time I enter into the facility. To date, I have used all of their services to include their storage units, mail boxes, U-Haul rentals and their packing supplies. They are conveniently located in the city of Pasadena and they are truly a one-stop-shop for all of your moving and storage needs. I would encourage anyone to just take a moment and swing by. Review: I have been renting storage units from Allen Avenue Self Storage since Feb. 2009. From the beginning, I have been very impressed with the level of service I have received. The first night I arrived with my truckload of belongings from Austin, Tx, I was delayed, and my arrival time was an hour after they closed. Robert, the employee on duty that Friday night, graciously waited for me to arrive despite the lateness of the hour. Since then, any problems or questions that have arisen have been dealt with immediately. I especially commend Jacey for his positive and professional attitude in regards to everything and everyone he handles. He and the other staff work very hard to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere, such as decorating the place for the various holidays throughout the year. Not something one would expect to see at a storage facility! I also recommend Allen Ave Storage because of their business center, with free internet access, and printing and fax machines for your use. I can't recommend this storage facility and their staff highly enough.

I have also rented trucks from them on a few occassions and I must say that they have been there for me in my time of need. They go the extra mile; even when there are customers and it goes past business hours, they ensure that your needs are met and never turn anyone away. Having the ability to rent a moving van from this facility makes it very easy and convenient to move in and out of the unit. Review: I've been doing business with Allen Avenue Self Storage for about 2 years now and so far, I have been happy with their services. They provide 3 different services at this location and I have tried all 3 --- they have their storage services (duh), but they are also a U-Haul rental and drop off location and they also have private mailboxes here. Storage Services: Good location and secure facility. When you rent a room, you get your own custom gate code you choose yourself. Call around for prices and they can usually meet the prices with other competitors. I love that they have probably the best hours in the area (7a-7p EVERY day, whereas most locations have shorter hours on the weekends). I have even referred my mother-in-law here, who still rents from them. U-Haul: Their U-Haul sign is not big so it might be hard to see if that's what you're looking for. Just remember: big, red, brick building! Service here is WAAAY better than the U-Haul on Raymond location. When renting a U-Haul here, you are getting Triple A (AAA) service, while at the Raymond location, you get DMV service :-( No long waits and good selection of cars to choose from. Just make sure that when you are returning something you didn't specifically rent from this location, call in advance because they may not have space and can't take it back. That's happened to me before. Private Mailboxes: Been using their PMB services here for a while now and I am happy with it. Prices are good and if you pay in advance (6 months or 1 year), you get like 1-2 months free. If you get big packages from UPS or FedEx, the staff even calls you and lets you know you have a package :-) Staff: They're great! Friendly and helpful. Must give a shout out to the peeps that gives me extra good service -- Jacey and Marie are super nice! The others are new so I don't know much about them.
