- The clerk was polite and courtesy and did a great job of informing me of what Public Storage had to offer to suit my needs. I was very pleased. Before I had went to another place and I was trying to asked about, what I now know is a climate controlled storage area. The people at the other place looked at me like I was crazy and made me feel unwelcomed. Public Storage helped me figure out the space I needed and offered other accessories, such as boxes and packaging supplies if needed. It was a much better choice than the first place I had went to.

- I really dont like to leave negative reviews but I feel absolutely lied to by the people here. I booked a 5×10 for $139 a month online with ads all over saying 1st month free rent. They call and tell me that my first total with fees is going to be $175 and to make sure I brought that with me and then it will be $139 a month thereafter. Okay, so I make sure and bring that only to be told oh yeah well now the total is 190 bc of the lock, and you don't get first month free (the clause in the asterisk says 1st month free for r.v parking, OY!) AND it will be $155 after that bc you have to buy their $22 insurance. All this would have been fine if it was at all communicated to me. I am living on borrowed means and having these stupid surprise charges are all but killing me. I explained to the man at the front desk and while he was kind he did nothing to help other than offer weak noises of reassurance about understanding my frustrations. I don't like businesses like this, that felt extremely deceiving (because it was and they know it) and I will be looking for a new unit when I can afford it. Overall, hopefully this gets passed down to someone who cares about their company and can do something about it but I won't hold out hope.

- the set up is good and secure, however last time i was there, there was a man hanging out at the gate and when we opened it up to go in, he followed us. No idea who he was or where he went, but that didn't sit well. the unit we rented had an oil slick in the back on the ground. when i asked the person what it was, she didn't know. said she thought it was oil...and that was it. didn't show us another unit or say that was an option. we had to buy a tarp to put down to assure it didn't ruin any boxes. it was a bit disappointing. if we weren't in a rush to get a unit and get my stuff in there, we probably would have looked at other places. like i said. it's storage. its a place to put your stuff. so i don't hang out there or whatever, but i know its secure. people were nice, just not very observant that we would have liked a different unit instead of an oil spill unit....
