This has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience from the beginning. Nobody in the company expressed any remorse or offered an apology for the inconvenience they have caused me.

Trouble started with the website being unable to reserve a site online. Had to do it with a representative and it took over 2 hours. It didn't help that the company has three different names. Finally I have a spot and they gave me the address with the key code to get in. I drive my 32 ft pull behind camper almost 3 hours to the front gate to find out that the code doesn't work. The camper is hanging out in the roadway. I get somebody on the phone and no matter what we do we can't get the key code to work. I asked him to confirm that this is the correct address because it doesn't look like there's anywhere to park my camper, we confirmed it more than twice on the phone that I was in the right place. He gave me permission to bypass the security and manually open the gates and park it near Locker 217 as best I can. Very tight fitting, but after about in half an hour to 45 minutes of jockeying I finally got it into place. Took me quite some time to get it set up being that the spot was so uneven. I then confirm with the gentleman that I am definitely in the right spot and I'm leaving my camper there and heading home. The following morning I inquire as to whether the gate code issue has been fixed. They respond by telling me I parked my camper in the wrong spot, I have to go back and move it around the block to another lot. Being that I'm at the wrong place, and I don't have the right gate code, I have to disable the security again to open the gates to get my camper out. Just an all-around pain in the butt. Finally get it to the new location and the driveway is so steep that unless you get a running start you can't get enough traction. Every time I try to back up and pull forward the gate would shut on me. Had to disable the gate in order to keep it open so I can back my trailer out into the street and get enough momentum to get it up the hill. This has been a horrible experience and not one of my complaints was met with any apology. (You asked me to review)

Most storage facilities will not let you store firearms, perishable items, liquids, illegal drugs, flammable and hazardous materials, live animals or plants.

Are my items insured while being in a storage unit?

You are responsible for the items that you store. Storage facility's insurance provides protection for the location that houses the storage units and not the contents of individual storage units. If your homeowner insurance doesn't cover your items, usually the facility manager will help you sign up with an insurance provider.

Can I use my renters insurance for a storage unit?

Anything your renter's insurance policy covers under usual conditions would be covered in your storage unit. Usually, renters insurance will cover items in a unit up to 10% of your policy limits, but the coverage does not include natural disasters. However, there may be exceptions to this, check with your insurance company to see if you're covered.

What do I need to bring with me when to rent a unit?

You will need a government-issued photo ID(driver’s license, state ID or passport) to complete your storage unit rental agreement.

Can I access my unit anytime I want?

Most storage locations are open 365 days a year, but access hours may vary. During access hours, usually between 6am – 10pm seven days a week, you can access your unit by using your individual gate code. During office hours, the company employees are available to answer questions and provide on-site support.

How long can I rent a unit?

Most rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and billed in one-month increments. No long-term lease is required unless the customer requests otherwise.
